China Guardian Auctions Co., Ltd.., a national auction firm, was established in May of 1993. China Guardian specializes in the sale of Chinese artwork of all varieties, and holds major international Spring and
Fall Auctions, as well as its Seasons Auctions series. With main offices in Beijing , and representative offices in Shanghai , Tianjin, Hong Kong and Japan , China Guardian has a physical presence across the whole country as well as internationally.

China Guardian has established itself as a leader in the field by consistently staging successful large-scale international auction events, including more than 300 special auctions with more than 163,000 items sold. The Weekend Auctions, a unique program created by China Guardian for the benefit of general collectors, has grown to the point that in 2005, after 84 successful sessions, this series was updated to become our Quarterly Auctions, with works subsequently improving in quality and selection.

Regular auction business covers Chinese paintings and calligraphy, porcelain, ceramics and works of art, Chinese oil paintings and sculptures, rare books, rubbings and calligraphy, stamps, coins and bronze mirrors, fine jewelry and jadeite, as well as watches and clocks. In recent years, quite a few national and international records have been set in China Guardian's auction rooms. Furthermore, through the company's efforts many national treasures have been bought by national museums either from overseas collectors or from private owners at home, including: Weng's Collection of Rare Books; ˇ°Rare Birdsˇ±, a painting by the Song Dynasty Emperor Huizong; a Tang Dynasty facsimile of Huaisu's calligraphy; and Zhu Xi's calligraphy, ˇ°Spring Rainˇ±.

For over 10 years now, Guardian has also worked with the government to establish methods and policies for the export of cultural and artistic works. Guardian also gained the respect of the people and the government by pursuing the sale and eventual repatriation of important cultural treasures in foreign collections, setting off a significant international trend of Chinese cultural reclamation by national collectors and museums. China Guardian's core commitment to quality, authenticity, and a responsibility to both clients and the nation, have consistently earned it the top accolades of the national auction business world, including founder Chen Dongsheng being elected as Vice-Chairman of the National Auction Association, Managing Director President Wang Yannan elected Head of the Cultural and Art Auction Board of the National Auction Association, and Deputy Managing Director Vice-President Kou Qin elected Vice-Secretary of the National Auction Association as well as Vice-Chairman of the Beijing Auction Association.

China Guardian is not only graded an ˇ°AAA Auction Company,ˇ± the highest honor in the industry, but has also been named a ˇ°Trustworthy Enterpriseˇ± by the Government Bureau of Commerce and Industry.
